I spent much of my childhood in a country house.

Being surrounded by nature inspired me to dream of one day growing vegetables, raising chickens and living in a house with a small orchard.

Finally, in 2022, to make that dream come true, I moved with my partner Tim from the urban island of Oahu to Kapaau, a place with a pleasant climate all year round on the Big Island of Hawaii, the largest island in the state of Hawaii, where nature is still abundant. .

Living here has given me great energy and further increased my creative motivation. At the entrance to the vast grounds where we live, macadamia nuts and banyan trees stand firmly and always warmly welcoming us.
Apparently there used to be a bridge here, so we gave it a new name: "Banyan Bridge."

Banyan Bridge is not only the location of the Hawaii branch of the DECO CLAY CRAFT ACADEMY, but we also hope to one day introduce it as a place that everyone can visit, so we launched "byDECO."

Here you can experience nature, experience Hawaiian culture, and experience art. We also focus on food, introducing delicious produce grown in the Hawaiian sun, such as vegetables, fruits, honey, and coffee from Hawaii Island farmers.
