Banyan Bridge will introduce you to an original recipe for granola made with Island Harvest Hawaii's organic macadamia nuts.
Macadamia nuts are rich in minerals that boost your immune system, and contain healthy fats that keep you warm, making them the perfect breakfast for cold winter days.
Banyan Bridge Granola

Macadamia Nuts (Island Harvest Hawaii Organic Macadamia Plain) 120g
3 1/2 cups oats 3 tablespoons brown sugar
½ teaspoon salt
4 tablespoons honey
4 tablespoons maple syrup
3 tablespoons melted coconut oil
2-3 drops vanilla extract
How to make it
- Preheat the oven to 180°C.
- Coarsely chop the macadamia nuts
- Add the macadamia nuts, oats, brown sugar and salt and mix together.
- Whisk together honey, maple syrup, coconut oil, and vanilla extract (if honey isn't fully dissolved, heat in a saucepan or microwave for 40 seconds).
- Pour 4 over 3 and mix well until completely coated.
- Spread evenly on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Place in the oven and bake for 5 minutes, stirring halfway through, then bake for a further 5 minutes.
- Remove from oven and cool completely before dividing into chunks.
- Store in an airtight container (will keep for about a week)
