カパアウからようこそ

Welcome from Kapaau

Aloha!

Nice to meet you all.
This "Banyan Bridge" blog introduces the rich and beautiful natural surroundings of Kapaau, Hawaii.
We would like to deliver healing information through "art, culture, wellness, and food." Thank you for your support.

We are currently preparing for the program we will be holding at Banyan Bridge , but I think many of you are wondering, "Where is Kapaau on the Big Island of Hawaii?"

So, this time I would like to tell you a little bit about Kapaau.

The Hawaiian Islands are made up of over 100 small islands, but we at DECO Banyan Bridge are located in the northwestern part of the largest island, the Big Island of Hawaii, also known as the Big Island.
This area is known as the birthplace of King Kamehameha I, who unified Hawaii together with the neighboring town of Hawi, and in one corner of the town stands the King Kamehameha Statue. This King Kamehameha Statue is the oldest of the three Kamehameha statues in Hawaii. It was originally made in Paris, France, but was wrecked in a storm while being transported by ship and sank along with the ship. It was discovered on the ocean floor in 1912, pulled up, and installed in Kapaau. Hearing this and seeing the statue makes me feel somehow stronger.

Well, leaving the story of King Kamehameha there, Kapaau is a town with a population of a few thousand people, and is accessible by car from Kona Airport in about an hour and a half. When you think of Hawaii Island, many people may imagine rugged lava rocks along the roads, but this area is a town located deep in nature, surrounded by large trees, reminiscent of an oasis in the desolate land.
There are also many native flowers growing throughout town, including plumeria, hibiscus, and shower trees.
DECO Banyan Bridge is located in Kapaau, north of the Kohala Mountains, in the northern part of Hawaii Island, in the midst of this rich natural environment.
A banyan tree over 200 years old. When you walk along the road here, you are surrounded by tranquil air, which makes you feel incredibly relaxed.

We are preparing to welcome you with a variety of plans in this historic, naturally rich setting of Kapaau.
Just by being here you can feel the Ola (healing) and we will be with you.

Please wait a little while until we can provide you with information.
